Blue Lily Whole Flower
The beautiful blue flowers of Blue Lily, a much revered lotus, were smoked and ingested by the ancient Egyptians, producing a subtle, calming and etheric effect. Blue Lotus, otherwise known as sacred lily of the Nile, is a delicious relaxing smoke. Cleopatra was particularly enamored with this herb and it was even represented in early Egyptian art. It creates a dream-like state and provides for a deep sleep afterwards.
Preparation
May be smoked. Also, add a whole flower to boiling water and steep for 10 minutes to enjoy as a tea. For extra effect, try infusing 100 grams in a bottle of vodka for a few weeks.

Some reports of muscle tremors & nausea. Do not take with Benzodiazepine. or other sedative medications as blue lily may increase their effects. Lily may lower blood sugar levels in some people. Watch for signs of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) and monitor your blood sugar carefully if you have diabetes. May interfere with blood sugar control during and after surgical procedures. Stop using lotus at least 2 weeks before a scheduled surgery. |
