Chaparral Tea
This thorny shrub, also known as ‘creosote bush’ for its potent aroma, is native to the deserts of North and South America, where native tribes have long used chapparal as a cure-all. Chapparal contains Nordihydroguaiaretic acid (NDGA), and powerful antioxidant.
Traditional uses include treating many diseases. However, this herb may harm the liver in some people. It is recommended to only use Chapparal under the supervision of a health care professional.
Preparation
Serve Size: 2g
Use 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon per serve, add to a pot of boiled water and brew for 10 minutes. Strain and pour, add sweetener if needed.
