Clary Sage Essential Oil
Clary Sage Essential Oil is traditionally recommended to promote feminine comfort, especially during the menopause. A tonic, the essential oil is also reputed to fight against hair loss. Clary Sage essential oil is known to have a regulating effect on oily hair and oily skin.
Due to its sclareol content, Clary Sage essential oil is traditionally known to mimic female hormones and regulate menstrual cycles. An ally of women, it is reputed to help in the case of irregular or painful periods and at the time of pre-menopause and menopause.
The lunar cycle is known to influence the female cycle, and sage, which has properties similar to female hormones, is therefore often associated with the moon. An Italian saying illustrates this trend perfectly: “The wife commands at home when the sage is growing well in the garden”. Thanks to its virtues, Clary Sage is traditionally used to effectively combat disorders linked to the female cycle (painful periods, absence of periods, premenstrual syndrome, menopause…).
Clary Sage essential oil is traditionally used to improve the following situations: Amenorrhoea (absence of menstruation), painful menstruation, premenstrual syndrome, Pre-menopause, menopause, hot flashes, Mycoses, Circulatory disorders, varicose veins, haemorrhoids, Nervous fatigue, Sexual fatigue
1-2 drops in a diffuser, in your cosmetics, in a bath or in a carrier massage oil.
Oily skin with acneic tendency: Rosemary essential oil, Lemon without furocoumarin, Clementine Petitgrain, Tea tree, Manuka.
Hair tonic: essential oils of Bay Saint Thomas, Cineole Rosemary, Cedarwood, Grapefruit, vegetable oils of Mustard, Chaulmoogra, Coconut, Castor oil.
Scalp purifier: essential oils of Cade, Geranium, Palmarosa
Excessive perspiration: Palmarosa essential oil, Bacti-Pur cosmetic active ingredient.

Do not use in pregnant or breastfeeding women or children.
Do not use in cases of mastosis or a history of hormone-dependent cancer (breast, ovary, endometrium) due to its “estrogen-like” effect.

Certain natural compounds contained in this essential oil may present a risk of allergy in certain sensitive people when the essential oil is incorporated into a cosmetic composition: linalool and, to a lesser extent, limonene.
As a general rule, always carry out an application test of your preparation, in the crease of the elbow, at least 48 hours before using it.
