Juniper Essential Oil
Juniper Essential Oil has long been known for its soothing qualities in cases of rheumatism. Draining, the essential oil of Juniper is used to reduce the appearance of cellulite and promote the elimination of water. Juniper essential oil also brings strength and courage through its energetic action.
Juniper is a shrub that grows on the sloping soils of the mountains of Europe and has been used for centuries for its purifying and antiseptic properties. In the past, juniper wood was frequently burnt in cities to fight epidemics. It is even said that Hippocrates fought the plague in Athens thanks to these fumigations.
Until the 19th century, juniper berries were burned in French hospitals to clean the air. Juniper berries, in addition to their antiseptic properties, are known for their diuretic and anti-lithiasic virtues, i.e. they prevent the formation of kidney stones and facilitate their disintegration. This is why we very often find the essential oil of Juniper berries as a sanitizing accompaniment and facilitating the evacuation of toxins.
From an energetic point of view, Juniper dissipates fears and facilitates the passage to action. It purifies the soul as much as the body and helps to dispel bad destructive thoughts.
