Lemon Balm
Lemon Balm Organic is fast-growing, fragrant and resembles peppermint in appearance, native to southern Europe. Its strongly antiviral, antibacterial and aromatic. It’s also a digestive stimulant, an antidepressant, antihistamine and nerve tonic. Common medicinal uses include: assisting in allergy relief, mood lifting, relieves tension and anxiety. Great for stress-related disorders such as IBS and respiratory irritation.
Lemon Balm is a common garden herb with a pleasing flavour, and is gentle enough for colds and flus, as it calms the body and helps sweat out a fever. It can help settle an upset stomach and dispel gas. Lemon balm makes a soothing tea for nervous tension, anxiety and depression. Recently it has been found to be very effective in treating symptoms of herpes simplex, when used topically as an ointment, wash or poultice fresh leaves.

Preparation
