Lemon Balm
Lemon Balm Organic is fast-growing, fragrant and resembles peppermint in appearance, native to southern Europe. Its strongly antiviral, antibacterial and aromatic. It’s also a digestive stimulant, an antidepressant, antihistamine and nerve tonic. Common medicinal uses include: assisting in allergy relief, mood lifting, relieves tension and anxiety. Great for stress-related disorders such as IBS and respiratory irritation.
Lemon Balm is a common garden herb with a pleasing flavour, and is gentle enough for colds and flus, as it calms the body and helps sweat out a fever. It can help settle an upset stomach and dispel gas. Lemon balm makes a soothing tea for nervous tension, anxiety and depression.
Preparation
2 tsp / cup, steep covered 10 mins. Drink as needed. Children – 1/2 dose.
