Olive Leaf
Olive leaf is antiseptic, astringent, febrifuge and sedative. A decoction is traditionaly used in treating obstinate fevers, they also have a tranquillising effect on nervous tension and hypertension. Experimentally, they have been shown to decrease blood sugar levels by 17 – 23%. Externally, they can be applied to abrasions.
Preparation
Use 1/2 teaspoon (1 gram) per serve. Brew in a pot of boiled water for 10 minutes, strain and pour. Add sweetener as needed.
