Raspberry Leaf
Raspberry Leaf has been long valued in pregnancy to strengthen and tone the tissues of the uterus. It may help strengthen contractions during labour, and check hemorrhaging. As an astringent, it is valuable for excessive menstruation, as well as diarrhea. In addition it’s antiseptic and astringent properties make it useful for mouth problems such as ulcers, bleeding gums, and a gargle for sore throats. Taken regularly as a tea in the last trimester of pregnancy it is really helpful for the birthing process.
Preparation
1-2 tsp/cup, steep 5-10 minutes.Drink 1-3 times daily.
