Stevia Leaf is between ten and thirty times sweeter than sugar, yet contains only 1 calorie between 10 leaves. Reduces blood glucose levels, hence can be used by diabetics without repercussions. Helpful in reducing sugar cravings, hence aids in disease prevention. Rich in manganese – crucial for a healthy glandular system, and potassium – for healing, muscle function, brain power, nerve conductivity and waste elimination. Also found to help regulate blood pressure.
Preparation
Use Stevia as a sweetener for drinks and cooking. A pinch is equal to a teaspoon of sugar. Add to liquid before adding to cooking mixes.
