Our Shipping Policy is part of our Terms & Conditions. We ship domestically & internationally using Sendle and Australia Post. All postage prices are weight based and shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout.
Processing Times
All orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days. During busy periods, new moon, or product launches, this may extend slightly, but we’ll always do our best to get your herbs to you as soon as possible.
Domestic Shipping (Australia)
Orders within Australia are sent via Australia Post or other reliable courier services.
- Standard delivery usually takes 3–7 business days, depending on your location. Expect a little more for Western Australia.
- Express delivery (if selected) typically arrives within 1–3 business days after dispatch. Expect a little more for Western Australia.
- Express delivery orders placed before 2pm AEST will ship on the same day.
- Delivery to Regional Australia can take up to 11 days.
We recommend selecting Australia Post Express if you need your order by a specific date.
For either option, You’ll receive a tracking link in your confirmation email once your parcel is on its way so you can follow its journey home.
International Shipping
We’re delighted to send our herbs across the world. Delivery times vary depending on location and local postal services but generally range from 7–21 business days.
Please note: international orders may be subject to customs inspections, import duties, or taxes upon arrival in your country. These fees are determined by your local authorities and are the responsibility of the customer.
Address Accuracy & Returned Parcels
Please take a moment to check your address before completing your order. It really helps avoid delays or returns.
- We are not responsible for parcels lost, delayed, or returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address.
- If a parcel is returned to us, due to an incorrect or incomplete address, or because it wasn’t collected, we’ll happily resend it once it is returned to us but the customer will be responsible for any re-shipping costs.
Customs, Tariffs & Import Regulations
Each country has its own import rules, and some have restrictions on certain herbal products. It is your responsibility to check your country’s requirements before placing an order.
- For US deliveries, Tariffs will be automatically calculated at checkout.
The Herb Temple cannot accept liability for parcels delayed, seized, or returned by customs, nor for any fees or charges that may arise.
Shipping Insurance
All Australian parcels include automatic insurance up to AU$100 through Australia Post. If your order is of higher value, you can easily add extra cover at checkout for peace of mind.
- If a parcel is lost, we will not be able to cover, replace or refund the products prior to the carrier confirming their responsibility and only up to the amount insured.
Delivery Issues
Once a parcel has left our hands, it’s in the care of our courier partners. We’ll always do our best to help if something goes astray. If you experience delivery issues, please reach out with your order number and we’ll do what we can to assist.
Although we always do our best to help resolve delivery issues, we cannot take responsibility for circumstances beyond our control once your order has been dispatched.
