Jasmine Flowers
Jasmine Flowers are a fragrant flower known as the “Queen of the Flowers”. It is both uplifting and mildly sedating and is used to improve mood, reduce stress and tension and ease depression. As an antispasmodic and uterine tonic it is beneficial for menstrual disorders, and is also used to promote breastmilk production. Jasmine has also been used to promote healthy digestion, and its antimicrobial action fights against pathogenic bacteria.
Jasmine is a climbing vine in the olive family. The rose-like buds are prized for their beauty and delicate fragrance. The buds are tinctured to produce perfume, decoration and added to tea blends. Jasmine buds also boost medicinal properties that include; antioxidant, stress relief, anti-inflammatory, improved immunity. Jasmine is a tonic, euphoric herb that relieves spasms.
The flowers are mainly used as essential oil in aromatherapy. Its keyword is ‘Aphrodisiac‘.
Preparation
