Cypress Essential Oil
Cypress Essential Oil has long been known for its exceptional tonic and circulatory qualities. Regulating, the essential oil of Cypress is also traditionally known for its ability to reduce excessive perspiration. Its soothing action makes it a must to soothe coughs.
An emblematic silhouette of the Mediterranean flora, the Cypress tree appears in many legends as a symbol of eternal life. The Persians made it the symbol of death and the popes are buried in a Cypress coffin. But it is also considered the guardian of the estates. Thanks to its long roots, it can draw water from deep down and its narrow leaves with tightly scaled foliage allow it to limit evaporation. This is how it keeps its bright green colour all year round, hence its name “Evergreen Cypress“!
