A beautiful tree with dense foliage, the grapefruit tree produces fruit in bunches, hence the origin of its English name “grapefruit“. Its fruits, called grapefruits in everyday life but botanically recognised as pomelos, belong to the category of citrus fruits. They have a yellow to dewy rind, and their juicy pulp can be yellow, pink or red, more or less bitter or sweet depending on the variety. The white grapefruit is spherical in shape and may have slightly flattened ends. It is twice the size of an orange and its skin is yellow. The flesh is crisp and juicy, with a slightly tart and slightly sweet taste.
This is the variety you will appreciate with the essential oil of grapefruit, whose scent is very faithful to the fruit. By cold pressing of the peel, the essence of Grapefruit is obtained. It is an excellent air freshener in diffusion, which is also known to give tonus and optimism. Due to its active ingredients, it helps to rid the body of toxins for a tonic and slimming effect.
